The art of direction is the heart of any media, entertainment, and film industry. a director is responsible for overseeing each aspect of the live set. Direction is a collaboration of various skills jointly to communicate ideas effectively. The director needs to extract and cast the best of actors, editors, cinematographers, editors, performing arts crew, sound recordists, etc besides placing one’s very own talent into the mixture of production.

The program module covers the logistic responsibilities of the department, captivating storytelling with proper technical finish in each production, types of shoots and picturization, visualization to execution, storyboarding & ground play, and working with actors and props & crew members. A director has a whole lot to cover under his belt. Students will learn from award-winning directors who are a part of the faculty at ICE.

After successful completion of the course, students will graduate with a globally accepted ISO & government (MESC) certification.

Students who complete any course are awarded certificates that are globally recognized and widely preferred within the industry

Create a footing for all professions in art performance, acting, or filmmaking with an internationally recognized and accepted certification from ICE Institute. ICE was the first media and film institute to receive the ISO certification on quality standards and continues to make history within the industry.

We offer dual certification on selective courses with government certification. ICE is the authorized partner of Media & Entertainment Skill Council (MESC) which is promoted by FICCI & NSDC for setting standards while training and accreditation falls under (PMKVY) scheme of government of India. This is beneficial since MESC has a mandate to create a skilled workforce of 11.4 lakhs by 2022.

Sushil graduated in film direction and screenplay writing from the institute at India FTII, Pune. and holds a master’s in mass media and communication studies from Pune University. Since then, he has directed several documentaries and short films which appreciated in several film festivals. He has also worked for ad films as a copywriter and director.

Yashwant Shekhawat

Yashwant’s experience has no boundaries working in multiple roles within the industry. A true by heart veteran novelist and playwright. He has written a Hindi novel, ‘Aras-Pras’, and a play ‘Premchand Ghar Main’, based on the memoir of Shivranidevi, wife of Premchand, Published by Bodhi Prakashan available on Amazon. He was an Associate Director with Ribhu Dasgupta for the film ‘Michael’ (Viacom and Anurag Kashyap) and an Associate Director with Kunal Vijaykar for the film ‘Fruit & Nut'(Viacom). A Chief Assistant Director with Ahemad Siddique for the film ‘Jai Santoshi Maa’ (Percept). Chief Assistant Director with Paresh Kamdar for film ‘Jonny Jonny Yes Papa’.

Tarun Sharma

Tarun is an alumnus of the prestigious FTI (film and television institute of India, Pune, where he graduated in film direction & screenplay writing. He has formerly worked with Ramesh Sippy Entertainment and has been involved with various film projects. He remains active within the industry on multiple film projects and is a leading faculty member at ICE.

Mohd Zorjis

Mohammad graduated in mass media studies from Jamia Millia Islamia University, New Delhi. He studied arts and aesthetics (Cinema & Visual studies) and holds a master’s degree from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. Mohammad also did his post-graduation in film direction and screenplay writing from the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Pune. He has successfully directed multiple short films, documentaries, and music videos. He currently is a high-demand freelance filmmaker and screenplay writer in the industry.
