This film production short course program is a 600-hour full-time course over three-months designed to give you a 360° view of the industry. You are introduced to script development, raising finance, organizing the shoot, post-production, and marketing planning. The production course offers a strategic well-planned curriculum to cover all aspects of filmmaking production overseeing in a short span. The area on course analysis focuses on the complex stages around the art of filmmaking. It starts right from story concepts to the final stage in editing and everything in the middle. Students learn the basic principles in film production, film techniques, and film genres.

We also cover modules on film history, business analysis, screenwriting, production approaches, business administration, and digital cinematography. In addition to comprehending film production, you also learn how to communicate and handle the team and how to collaborate with directors on live sets.

ICE offers dual credentials on successful completion of the course, one is an ISO certification which is globally recognized, and the other from MESC which is a government-approved certification.

Learning Outcomes

Students who complete any course are awarded certificates that are globally recognized and widely preferred within the industry.

Create a footing for all professions in art performance, acting, or filmmaking with an internationally recognized and accepted certification from ICE Institute. ICE was the first media and film institute to receive the ISO certification on quality standards and continues to make history within the industry.

We offer dual certification on selective courses with government certification. ICE is the authorized partner of Media & Entertainment Skill Council (MESC) which is promoted by FICCI & NSDC for setting standards while training and accreditation falls under (PMKVY) scheme of government of India. This is beneficial since MESC has a mandate to create a skilled workforce of 11.4 lakhs by 2022.

Yashwant’s experience has no boundaries working in multiple roles within the industry. A true by heart veteran novelist and playwright. He has written a Hindi novel, ‘Aras-Pras’, and a play ‘Premchand Ghar Main’, based on the memoir of Shivranidevi, wife of Premchand, Published by Bodhi Prakashan available on Amazon. He was an Associate Director with Ribhu Dasgupta for the film ‘Michael’ (Viacom and Anurag Kashyap) and an Associate Director with Kunal Vijaykar for the film ‘Fruit & Nut'(Viacom). A Chief Assistant Director with Ahemad Siddique for the film ‘Jai Santoshi Maa’ (Percept). Chief Assistant Director with Paresh Kamdar for film ‘Jonny Jonny Yes Papa’.

Sushil Jadhav

Sushil graduated in film direction and screenplay writing from the institute at India FTII, Pune. and holds a master’s in mass media and communication studies from Pune University. Since then, he has directed several documentaries and short films which appreciated in several film festivals. He has also worked for ad films as a copywriter and director.

Tarun is an alumnus of the prestigious FTI (film and television institute of India, Pune, where he graduated in film direction & screenplay writing. He has formerly worked with Ramesh Sippy Entertainment and has been involved with various film projects. He remains active within the industry on multiple film projects and is a leading faculty member at ICE.
