Advance editing is an extensive full-time six months course covering 800-hour + 2 months internship program that is a sum of next level editing offered at ICE. The course is developed to equip students for proficient editing in all facets of technical mastery required for editing films, serials, news, and chroma editing.

Program Overview

ICE is the only institute to offer special modules on advance editing
ICE provides advance editing training which reflects the current skill requirements in the industry. The program is designed by the best researchers and developers with the infrastructure and equipment adapted to coach students on modern editing technology use and software integration on projects in the industry. Students will gain the basics of filmmaking while learning to collaborate with directors and VFX artists pre-production and post-production to create a final masterpiece.

Students will learn how to exploit the rhythm and pace of every video, film, or tv serial. They will also comprehend the right combination of balance and technique crucial to the success of a movie, film, or storytelling that may otherwise seem to be a drag.

Modules will cover sessions on technical operating, re-editing live footage, creating trailers, effects editing, composting, and editing and syncing video and audio for music videos.

Eligibility for advance editing course is 10th/12th pass with basic computer knowledge

  • Prepare students for an editing profession in production houses, studios, events, media entertainment, and advertising agencies
  • Receive multiple placement options in various fields such as audio editors, content editors, line editors, and on-air editors
  • Edit, add/remove, create and blend images and sounds with the latest technical operations and software used in the industry

Students who complete any course are awarded certificates that are globally recognized and widely preferred within the industry.

Create a footing for all professions in art performance, acting, or filmmaking with an internationally recognized and accepted certification from ICE Institute. ICE was the first media and film institute to receive the ISO certification on quality standards and continues to make history within the industry.

We offer dual certification on selective courses with government certification. ICE is the authorized partner of Media & Entertainment Skill Council (MESC) which is promoted by FICCI & NSDC for setting standards while training and accreditation falls under (PMKVY) scheme of government of India. This is beneficial since MESC has a mandate to create a skilled workforce of 11.4 lakhs by 2022.
